MUMBAI: Sony Sab’s 'Dhruv Tara' is a romantic drama that revolves around Dhruv and Tara, who are from two different eras. Tara, a princess from the 17th century, travels through time and arrives in the present day, where she meets Dhruv.
At the onset, the show unveils 17th century Princess Tarapriya (played by Riya Sharma) who is a secret Vaidya. Meanwhile, in the present day, Dhruv (played by Ishaan Dhawan) is seen in Agra near the Taj Mahal.

Previously, initially disadvantaged by his lost eyesight, Dhruv makes a comeback by relying on his hearing, intensifying the Mal Yudh against Samrat Singh.
Later, Ranchhod reveals that for Nayak to continue existing, Dhruv's identity must be permanently erased. This means that Dhruv and Tara can never be together as themselves.
Further, Tara requests Mahaveer to keep Samrat Singh in the palace until her wedding, while Samrat Singh and Tilotama conspire to seek revenge against the royal family.
Now, Mahaveer informs Tara about Anusuya's imprisonment, which infuriates her. Dhruv points out that Sukanya and Anusuya, who helped them, met a similar fate.
