These days, the storyline of the show is focusing on Virat and how he is hiding the truth about Shruti from Sai. He feels guilty about it. On the other hand, Sai also suspects that Virat is up to something.

Sai takes a tough call to give divorce to Virat as she doesn't want Virat to land in any trouble because of her.
Sai doesn't want Virat to be blamed for betrayal and thus she hands over divorce papers to him to set him free so that he can go and marry Shruti.
Sai is doing it for Virat and he breaks down in tears of pain and sorrow but he couldn’t do anything.
Shruti cannot let a relationship to break because of her.
And so, Shruti takes charge to move ahead and end these misunderstandings and unite Virat and Sai by ending their confusion.
