MUMBAI:Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant and modern thinking young girl.
Currently, Ranimaa aka Damayanti is adamant to fix Shivendra’s marriage with Swati as soon as possible, but Shivendra doesn’t return from the city.

Damayanti gets doubtful as this is the first time that Shivendra didn’t return on her saying. Moving on, Shivendra is seen making a big effort for Surili after he mistakenly ends up breaking her gramophone, which was the last belonging of her parents.
Shivendra himself walks into the messed-up lanes of the city to meet the only old mechanic who can repair the vintage gramophone. Therefore, when Shivendra does this impossible task and surprises Surili with these gramophone, it leaves her teary eyes and she gets emotional.
