MUMBAI :Delving into the lives of two strong-willed women from two diametrically opposing societal settings, each inspirational in their respective worlds, Sony Entertainment Television brings viewers a captivating story with ‘Hum Rahein Na Rahein Hum’. The show follows the journeys of Damayanti, the principled traditionalist matriarch of the royal Barot family based in Ranak and Surilii, a vibrant young girl with modern thinking.
In the previous episode, when Dia asks Surilii for a princess-themed birthday party, Surilii tells her how a Princess should take care of herself instead of waiting for a Prince to come along.
On the other hand, in Ranak palace, Damayanti announces a grand celebration for Swatilekha. When Raghavendra’s asks about it, Damayanti informs him that she is planning to fix and announce Shivendra and Swatilekha’s wedding. This leaves Raghavendra shocked and broken.
Meanwhile, Madhumalti warns Swatilekha about the Barot family and that she is not sure if Swatilekha should get married into it.
In the upcoming episode, Damayanti follows the family tradition of welcoming Shivendra back with grand celebrations even though she is upset with him for coming late.
On the other hand, Madhumalti rebels against Hari Prasad to not let Swatilekha be a daughter-in-law of the Barot family owing to their past and she even expresses her desire to reveal the truth about the Barot family to Swatilekha if need be.
Meanwhile, Pammi Maasi feels emotional as she thinks that Surilii will leave them to be with her Prince charming but Surilii assures her that she will always be there for her, as Pammi has given 20 years of her life to Surilii.
Later, Shivendra tries to talk to Damayanti for allowing her sons to make their own decisions. However, Damayanti stands firm and asserts that she still holds the position of the head of the family, despite Shivendra being the eldest son.
