MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the top shows and is always doing well with the ratings. The show took a huge turn post the leap and Imlie and Chini are now all grown up. Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor play the leads with Karan Vohra. The current track is about the show taking a 5 year leap.

Previously, Atharva and Imlie's plan works as Chini gets caught. As Atharva comes to take Chini, Imlie comes from behind and Chini gets irked. Soon she starts to justify her feelings to Atharva and the Rana family come to know her truth.
Chini tells Atharva that she cared for him and looked after him for 5 years so he should not judge her so harshly. She then points out that Imlie wanted to give justice to Dhairya and it became her priority and she did not care about Atharva.
At this moment, when Chini says that after the accident she was the only one who took care of him, Imlie points out that Chini took care of Atharva alone because she had not informed anyone that Atharva was alive and wanted to keep everyone away.
Chini admits that she had planned the accident but she states that it was only because she loves him that much.
Now, Chini runs away from the house but when Imlie comes to inform the family, Anu steps in to defend Chini by blaming Imlie for everything and saying justifying Chini's actions by saying that she did everything just because she loves Atharva. When Imlie tells Atharva to call the police, he refuses to do so, saying that Chini did not kill Dhairya on purpose and that it was just a mistake.
Atharva tells the family to give one chance to Chini and forgive her for this, leaving Imlie shocked and angry. Suddenly, Rudra comes with police and the officer says that they are here to arrest Chini, not knowing that Chini has already escaped. However, the arrival of police is going to bring a big shocker for everyone s they aren't here empty handed.
