MUMBAI: Imlie is one of the top shows and is always doing well with the ratings. The show took a huge turn post the leap and Imlie and Chini are now all grown up. Megha Chakraborty and Seerat Kapoor play the leads with Karan Vohra. The current track is about the show taking a 5 year leap.

Previously, Atharva and Imlie's plan works as Chini gets caught. As Atharva comes to take Chini, Imlie comes from behind and Chini gets irked. Soon she starts to justify her feelings to Atharva and the Rana family come to know her truth.
Chini tells Atharva that she cared for him and looked after him for 5 years so he should not judge her so harshly. She then points out that Imlie wanted to give justice to Dhairya and it became her priority and she did not care about Atharva.
At this moment, when Chini says that after the accident she was the only one who took care of him, Imlie points out that Chini took care of Atharva alone because she had not informed anyone that Atharva was alive and wanted to keep everyone away.
Chini admits that she had planned the accident but she states that it was only because she loves him that much.
Now, Chini escapes from her room and Imlie informs the family that Chini has ran away but Anu comes here to defend Chini and her actions, blaming Imlie for everything and justifying Chini's actions by saying that she did everything out of love. Imlie doesn't give up.
Imlie tells Atharva to call the police but to everyone's shock, Atharva refuses to file a complaint against Chini. Imlie tries to explain to him but he tells her that he understands it is about justice for Dhairya. He tells her further that it was Chini's mistake and wasn't on purpose that he pushed her. This completely shocks Imlie and she feels frustrated.
