MUMBAI : Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. The current track concentrates on Anirudh and Jhanak’s feelings for each other and confession of love.

In front of Anirudh and his family, Jhanak will boldly reveal that she is expecting Anirudh's child. Anirudh has forgotten the night they spent together in Kashmir, when they made love as he was running through high fever.
He will be seen acting disrespectfully towards Jhanak and making bold claims that he is not the child's father. It will be evident that Jhanak isn't ready for Anirudh to not trust her when she says that she plans to get a DNA test done.
Amidst all of this drama, Arshi and Shrishti will also suspect that Jhanak may not be speaking the lie and that Anirudh may be Jhanak's child's father because the two were previously quite close.
It will be seen that Shrishti stages Jhanak's miscarriage and attributes Anirudh's responsibility preventing the two from ever getting back together. Jhanak will be seen as broken, and she would swear to seek revenge on Anirudh and his family.
