MUMBAI: Star Plus’ latest show, 'Jhanak', features Hiba Nawab in the titular role of Jhanak, Krushal Ahuja as Anirudh, and Chandani Sharma as Arshi. Earlier, Jhanak returned to Kolkata to reveal her pregnancy to Anirudh. According to her, Anirudh is the father of her unborn child. She has suffered greatly throughout her life as an illegitimate child and doesn't want her child to experience the same.
Now, everyone in the family along with Anirudh gets startled by Jhanak’s claims. However, refuses her claims, and he tries to convince Arshi not to trust Jhanak this time. He even asks her to have faith in him. He threatens Jhanak that she has only seen his positive side, and he can show his evil side.
Jhanak is adamant about her claims and tells him even though he turns evil, the truth can not be changed. She reveals that whatever happened between them in Srinagar can not be changed leaving the Bose Family shattered.
On the other hand, Arshi refuses to trust Anirudh this time. She packs her bag and plans to leave the Bose house. Anirudh tries to convince her but he fails. Meanwhile, Shrishti comes and confronts Anirudh on the same leaving him shocked.
