MUMBAI: Star Plus show Jhanak currently features some high voltage drama. The show features Hiba Nawab, Krushal Ahuja and Chandani Sharma in the leading roles as Jhanak, Aniruddh and Arshi.
Currently, Arshi has tried to commit suicide after coming to know the truth about Jhanal and Aniruddh’s marriage. The two got married under unfortunate circumstances and Arshi got a jolt after coming to know the truth during her engagement with Aniruddh. Aniruddh rushed Arshi to the hospital and after a detox, Arshi is out of danger. Shrishti leaves know stone unturned to give an earful to Aniruddh about the way he treated her daughter. Aniruddh wants to spend some time with Arshi and while Shrishti makes a big deal out of it, Aniruddh tells her that it is not a big deal as the marriage with Jhanak was fake. He will tell all his family members that all he did was try to save his and Jhanak’s life and that he got married to come out alive from that village.
In the episodes ahead, it will be seen that Jhanak will go through her ritual of reversing the marriage vows and it will be seen that Aniruddh will feel bad and even shed a tear however, he won’t be able to do anything to take a stand for her. After the ritual, she will be given white clothes to wear symbolizing that she is a widower.

Jhanak will throw the saree and later while everyone will understand that she does not want to wear the saree, Srishti will take her in the river as she will be required to duck down in the water for three times as per ritual. Jhanak does not know how to swim and hence Srishti will help her however, once inside the water, Srishti will leave her hand. Jhanak will start drowning and watching her, Aniruddh will jump into the river to save her.
