MUMBAI: A lot of new shows are in the pipeline and will soon go on the floors. Some are all set for launches in the coming days.
Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma.
According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.
The show will be produced by DJ’s – A Creative Unit, which have been active in the industry for more than 20 years, and has been the name behind some of the biggest shows like ‘Just Mohabbat’, ‘Left Right Left’, ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’, ‘Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi’, ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahan’, ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, ‘Chotti Bahu’, ‘Sumit Sambhal Lega’, and more.
Kavya finally gets the lAS seat in her first attempt.
Sadly, Shubh fails in his last attempt and his male ego gets hurt seeing how Kavya didn't fail but he did.
Therefore, he very confidently asks Kavya to give her lAS seat to him as he cannot walk behind her.
Kavya is forced to give up her seat because she is a woman and has to walk behind a man.
Her life is going to take an unexpected turn with Adiraj's entry into her life.
Adiraj is also an lAS aspirant but his personality is just the opposite of Shubh.
Interestingly, he falls for Kavya when he gets to know about her and how she took a strong stand for herself instead of giving up for Shubh's unfair demand.
Adiraj, Kavya, and Shubh gave the lAS interview for the same batch but Kavya is the one who got the seat.
Meanwhile, Adiraj keeps admiring Kavya's hard work instead of feeling jealous.
