MUMBAI : Sony TV is going to be the home to one such new show ‘Kavya - Ek Junoon Ek Jazba’ starring Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Mishkat Varma. According to the promo of the show, Sumbul will be playing the role of IAS Officer Kavya who is married to an IPS officer. The story will revolve around Kavya who will make many sacrifices for her career.

Earlier, Shubham's mother, Gauri, expressed concern over Shubham's relationship. She was scared that Kavya might leave him and chose Adhiraj instead. She mentioned something Shubham did in Basant Khedi as the reason. Shubham and Gauri went to Kavya's house with a Pandit to finalize wedding dates fast amid the urgency to get married.
In the upcoming episode, Kavya gets angry and confronts him when Shubham calls Pandit Ji to fix the wedding date. In front of the whole family, Shubham forces Kavya to give her reasons for not wanting to marry him. Although Jaideep tells Kavya to take her own time, an unexpected tragedy occurs when Jaideep suffers a heart attack.
However, fate seems to bring Kavya and Adhiraj together as Kammo and her husband arrive to meet Kavya and learn about Shubham's dishonesty, planning to unveil the truth. Upon reaching the hospital, instead of Anjali, they disclose the truth to Shubham's mother, Gauri, inciting her anger. Amidst the chaos, Shubham continues his manipulative tactics, orchestrating misunderstandings between Adhiraj and Rajeev at the hospital.
