MUMBAI: Colors TV show Mangal Lakshmi - Lakshmi Ka Safar is getting quite exciting with each passing episode. The story of the show took a major turn with Lakshmi leaving Kartik's home and moving to Chandigarh. She has now started a new chapter of her life from scratch.
She is working with a powerful businessman from the music industry, Karan. Karan is very disrespectful towards Lakshmi and often puts her down. Karan's sister Barkha is also manipulative and rude. Lakshmi's profession enables her to meet Kartik as he is also a musician.

In the previous episode, Barkha expressed her liking towards Kartik and even proposed to him. However, Kartik politely turned down the proposal. This didn't go down well with Barkha and she is determined to win him over at any cost.
Barkha tells Kartik that they can remain friends and also calls him to a Diwali party. In the upcoming episodes, Barkha tells Karan about her obsession for Kartik and Karan promises that he will make sure his sister gets the love of her life. Lakshmi overhears it and panics.
In the forthcoming episodes, Kartik will be seen attending Barkha's Diwali party and towards the end of the party he will fall prey to Barkha's conspiracy because of which Karan will force Kartik to marry Barkha. Karan threatens Kartik to ruin his career if he doesn't adhere to him.
What will Kartik do? Will Lakshmi help him come out of this mess? Only time will reveal.
