MUMBAI: Colors show ‘Megha Barsenge’ sheds light on a newlywed bride, abandoned by her NRI dulha Manoj who is challenged with weathering the deceit and restoring her family's reputation. Amidst her struggle, she finds an unexpected ally in Arjun, an IAS officer who aids her quest to confront the elusive groom. Kavita resists when Megha wonders why Manoj is not picking up her phone and tells her to let him talk with her to which she refuses.
However, Megha enters her room and takes the phone. She finds later that she was speaking with Manoj alone and had lied to her for unknown reasons.
When Megha decides to call Manoj from Kavita's phone, the story takes an intriguing turn, and Sadananth comes to question her.
Megha lies to him out of fear, but the next day, when she tries to check her phone, Kavita attacks her.
Kavita locks Megha in a dark room and decides to burn her alive to get rid of her and her foolishness in the upcoming episodes.
