MUMBAI: Sasural Simar Ka 2 started with Gitanjali Devi entrusting Simar Bhardwaj with the task of finding an ideal bride for her grandson. Simar's quest ends when she meets her namesake, Simar Narayan, who dreams of making it big as a singer. The lead cast includes Avinash Mukherjee, Radhika Muthukumar, Karan Sharma, and Tanya Sharma.

In the previous episode, the family gathers for ‘Haldi’, but Ishita refuses to apply the ‘Haldi’ as she comes to know that the ‘Haldi’ was first applied to Reyansh. Simar tries to convince her, but she refuses. Ishita, this time, gets Simar drunk and Simar starts to feel dizzy. In a drunken state, Reema searches for Rudra but finds Vivaan and gets disappointed.
In the upcoming episode, Simar starts dancing in a drunken state. Chitra watches this on her phone and then shows it on the big screen for everyone to see. Simar dances in a drunken state and applies ‘haldi’ on Ishita’s feet. On the other hand, Karan Kapoor also gets Aarav drunk even more than he already was. He topples over and notices Geetanjali Devi standing right in front of him.
