MUMBAI: COLORS' new magnum opus show, ‘Shiv Shakti - Tap Tyaag Taandav’ delves into the first love story of the universe, exploring the journey of lord Shiva and goddess Parvati’s love, duty, sacrifice, and separation that translates into tap, tyaag, and Taandav.

Created and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s Swastik Productions, the show stars popular actors Ram Yashvardhan and Subha Rajput in the lead roles of Shiv and Shakti respectively.

The show has received an overwhelmingly great response and fans have taken to the show almost immediately; its success has raised a question of how the show has managed to win over the audiences.

Earlier, Lord Shiva decides to destroy the entire universe. As nature is wreaking havoc, Lord Shiva begins the Vinaash Tandav and opens his third eye.

The Gods strive to calm Lord Shiva down and stop the destruction.

In the upcoming episode, Diti tells Brighu to destroy the Shaktipinds. Lord Shiva reaffirms his devotion by giving a Rudraksha to the Goddess Chandrabaga.

In the meantime, Rahu diverts Lord Shiva, who curses him that no one will ever help him during his time of need.

Will Diti become successful in destroying the Shaktipinds?
