MUMBAI : Ekta Kapoor is back with a sequel to the show titled as Appnapan. Starring Cezanne Khan and Rajshri Thakur, the story hints at a similar plot with an estranged couple and their children who are divided between their parents.
Previously, Pallavi and Karunika team up to expose Sonali.
Sonali had falsely accused Mayank in a fraud which got him arrested.

Later, she hid Mayank in a mental asylum so as to keep her past a secret.
However, Mayank’s sister Karunika has been looking out for him and has now reached Sonali's house.

Furthermore, Mayank then somehow escapes from the mental asylum and searches for Sonali.
Meanwhile, Karunika finds out where Sonali is and brings ruin into her life.
Pallavi takes Karunika’s help and manages to uncover Sonali’s truth.
