MUMBAI: Star Plus show Udne Ki Aasha's current track revolves around Sachin having a blind trust on his childhood buddy Ranjit. During their childhood days, Ranjit helped Sachin and faced a few issues because of him, that's the reason why Sachin feels he owes it to Ranjit and thus he has been helping him.
In the previous episodes, Akash got arrested because of the crime that Ranjit committed. Sachin and the entire family reached the police station and the cops told Sachin about Ranjit's past crime. Sachin was shocked, however, a part of him felt that Ranjit was innocent.

In the upcoming episodes of the show, the cops ask Sachin and Sailee to present proofs against Ranjit so that Akash's name can be cleared from the case. Sailee tells them that she has proof. Previously, she asked Baadu to follow Ranjit and get proof against him. She presents the same to the cops and Akash gets released from the jail. Sachin gets a shocker as it is confirmed that Ranjit fooled him.
Sachin searches for Ranjit the entire day and finds him at an isolated place. Ranjit confesses his crimes and asks Sachin to leave. However, he gets him arrested, leaving him stunned. While leaving, Ranjit tells Sailee that she is not aware of her husband's true reality.
Furthermore, Sailee asks Sachin about his past but he refuses to tell her.
