The show is set in a Marathi backdrop and depicts a wife’s emotional rollercoaster journey and how she transforms her reluctant husband into a responsible person, which at some level affects the family. It portrays the story of Kanwar Dhillon as Sachin and Neha Hasora as Sayali and the details of the relationships and equations.

It was previously seen that Sayali's existence in Deshmukh House was being made miserable by Renuka, who would not stop reminding her that Roshini and Riya come from wealthy families and have a lot of money in contrast to her.
Sayali will be shown to be profoundly impacted by this reality and begin to experience the agony of feeling inadequate for the family. Sayali will be forced to confront Renuka since Sachin won't be able to notice the tears in her eyes.
