MUMBAI: Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms, airs on Star Plus and digitally streams on Disney+Hotstar. Based on Star Jalsha's Bengali series Ke Apon Ke Por, it is an official sequel to the long-running TV series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya.
It stars Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar in the lead roles.
The story introduced Kokila Modi, Gopi and Jaggi, the doppleganger of Ahem in the show to give continuity to the series second instalment. Sneha and Harsh play the roles of Gehna and Anant in the show and the audience is quite loving the drama based on kitchen politics.
The show moved ahead with Gehna and Anant eventually getting married and Radhika, who was Anant’s then girlfriend seeking revenge.
Soon, with the festivities of Rakshabandhan, it will be seen that the entire family will gather around to perform the ritual with Gehna. The men of the house will tie rakhi to Gehna saying that the thread is to be tied to the family which protects them and for them it is Gehna!
The show is directed by Pawan Kumar and Pawan Sahu.
