MUMBAI: Star Plus's popular show Yeh Hai Chahatein takes a new turn with the entry of Preesha's mentally unstable brother.
The storyline focuses on Preesha’s brother who is mentally ill and is under medical treatment.

Gopal who knows this fact hides about Venky’s situation from Preesha and Vasudha. Gopal is seen meeting him secretly without informing Preesha and Vasudha.
On the other side, Vasudha informs Preesha about Gopal's strange behavior and this is when Preesha decides to follow him.
In the upcoming track, Preesha follows Gopal and finds him going to a hospital with Radha. Preesha checks up with the nurse about the patient and tells her that she is their family member.
