MUMBAI: Yeh Hai Chahatein is a passionate love story between a famous rockstar, Rudraksh Khurana, and a gynecologist, Dr. Preesha Srinivasan, who fall in love while raising his brother’s son, Saransh, together.
The show is gearing up for some major twists and turns.

In the previous episode, Preesha catches Rakesh red-handed as he comes to the lab to get his hands on the DNA samples.
Rakesh tells him that it doesn’t matter if she knows the truth because she doesn’t have any evidence against him.
Preesha tells him that she met Budhiya’s wife who told her the whole truth and is also ready to be a witness in the court.
Rakesh doesn’t get affected by it and tells her that it doesn’t matter if Budhiya’s wife tells the truth in court as it’s not that easy to prove him a criminal just based on someone's testimony.
Rakesh asks Preesha what evidence does Budhiya's wife have to prove that he paid Budhiya to kill Nalini.
Rakesh will gloat about the fact that no one will ever doubt him as there is no one who actually saw him killing Dev and the one person who knew this truth is no more.
Preesha tells him that Nalini maybe dead to him but not the world and calls for her; Rakesh is left shocked to see Nalini alive.
In the upcoming episode, Preesha calls Nalini and Rakesh is shocked seing her alive.
Rakesh asks Preesha about how Nalini is still alive when he saw her dead.
Rakesh reveals that he had seen Preesha and Nalini together and was worried that Nalini might have told her the truth. Therefore, he called Budhiya and told him to kill Nalini right there.
Rakesh saw it all and later when he heard it in the news that Nalini is dead, he was relieved.
Preesha also reveals here that Nalini’s news on the TV was a sham.
Preesha tells him that she lied to the media about Nalini’s death and planned it, in a way that would make him come to the hospital in order to erase all the evidence and that is exactly what happened.
Preesha tells him that now she is confident that he was the one who killed Dev.
Rakesh denies but Preesha doesn’t agree with him.
Preesha tell him that it was either him or Nalini who killed Dev.
Nalini gets shocked hearing this and tells Preesha that she wasn’t the one.
Rakesh sees this as an opportunity and then blames Nalini, raising a question like- why would he kill his own son?
How will Nalini prove that it wasn’t her?
