It was earlier seen that Ishita introduces Shardul as Raman Bhalla to her entire family members.

Shardul is indeed Ishita’s college friend who met her post Raman’s accident.

Ishita took help from Shardul where he agreed to help Ishita.

Shardul thus later joined hands with Arijit and is helping him against Ishita.
