MUMBAI: Kartik of Rajan Shahi's "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" finally managed to get a bail for Sirat. The police were going to transfer her to another jail, but Kartik was able to get Sirat out before it happened.
He then took her to perform Mauri's last rites. Sirat got very emotional but Kartik consoled her and then brought her to the Goenka villa. He took her to the guest room and asked her to live there. He tells her that he has promised both Mauri and Ranveer that he will take care of her and he will.
Manish sees all this and questions Kartik about his decision. Sirat overhears all this and decides to leave. She leaves a note for Kartik thanking him for everything and apologises for putting him through some difficult situations.
