But then once on air, Shashank proved he was not another new kid on the block but was someone to watch out for. For some time now, there have been rumours floating around about her leaving the show. Vibha confirmed to TellyChakkar about it. "It is not correct. I am very much a part of the show. In fact, I am starting shooting from today and am really looking forward to it."

Character artists! You don’t find them too often on television these days. Balika Vadhu has exposed us to such artistes and prominent among them is the hugely talented Satyajit Sharma, the actor with the unconventional looks. The seasoned actor has been widely appreciated for his portrayal of Basant, the elderly man married to a minor, in Balika Vadhu. The show has the nation in mourning with the death of a young groom. We caught up with Satyajit to know about this tragic turns of events and more. Excerpts from the interview: <strong>

It's 3.30 pm as we call up Neha Marda, who checks-in her baggage at Kolkata Airport. Soon she's mobbed by fans who line-up to take autographs and click pictures with their Gehna. After stepping into the nation's number one show Balika Vadhu, the 21-year-old must start getting used to such scenes.

Tiny feet are now taking huge strides. Ambition drives them to their goals at a tender age. Two 10 year olds have entered into a reel life wed lock and this relationship makes them small screen’s most celebrated ‘tiny’ couple. Also, they are the youngest protagonists on any television show. Mumbai’s Avika Gor and Avinash Mukherjee play Anandi and Jagdish respectively, the tiny couple in Sphere Origins’ Balika Vadhu - Kacchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte on Colors.

The most famous tomboy of the small screen will now be seen very lady-like and demure. Bhairavi Raichuria, who immortalised the character of tomboy Kaajal in Hum Paanch, will be seen in a never before avatar. Gone are the shirt, jeans and cap; they’ve made way for a traditional Rajasthani attire. Bhairavi will soon be playing a Rajasthani woman in Sphere Origins’ Balika Vadhu – Kacchi Umar ke Pakke Rishte on Colors. Tellychakkar caught up with the actress for a brief chat.
