<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/interviews/i-want-be-female-don-barkha-bisht>Barkha Bisht</a> and <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/stardiary/day-indraneil-went-down-his-knees>Indraneil Sengupta</a> got married on 2 March, 2007 after two years of courtship. Both of them have made their mark as credible actors in the entertainment industry. But their bliss-filled life got an extra coat of happiness and satisfaction after they had their first child, a baby girl called Meira.

Barkha Bisht who was last seen in Laughter Ke Phatke enters Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai. She will play the character of Dhani, earlier played by Neha Saxena. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/stardiary/day-indraneil-went-down-his-knees>Barkha</a> confirmed the news and said, "My entry will be aired on Monday. I knew the producers, I have worked with them earlier in <em>Pyar Ke Do Naam</em> and <em>Doli Saja Ke</em> and I don't have any problem in playing an established character because the producers and the channel have taken the decision. I hope the viewers accept it."

A<em> dulhan's bidai</em> ceremony is always an emotional peak of that occasion, however for Anupama, protagonist of Sahara One's<em> Doli Saja Ke,</em> it turned out to be a pretty alarming experience. We are talking about the sultry Barkha Bisht, who recently developed cold feet while shooting this sequence at Future Studio, Goregoan.

In an industry where many lead actresses fail to bag a major role after their show winds up, fortune has favoured Barkha Bisht. Last seen in Star's <em> Pyaar Ke Do Naam, Ek Radha Ek Sham,</em> this vivacious gal is now the protagonist Anupama in Sahara One's <em>Doli Saja Ke</em>. "I guess I am very lucky. For my debut vehicle, MTV's <em> Kitne Mast Hain Zindagi,</em> Balaji tested 21000 candidates out of which I was selected. Later, I bagged a lead role in Star's <em> Pyar Ke…..</em>Even for Doli… there was immense competition but I got through," Barkha says with a smile.

Life is getting hectic for Barkha Bisht these days. This sassy and leggy actor who is shooting for Aroona Irani's <em> Doli Sajake Rakhna</em> (still has to go on air) is simultaneously hosting <em> PopKorn</em> Newz on Zoom. Till the latter was also co-hosted by Shama Sikandar (of <em>Yeh Meri Life Hai</em> fame), life was a cakewalk. But now Shama's association with the show has ended and it's Barkha who has taken up the show wholly. Now this two timing on television has turned a big deal for Barkha as she has realized.

After launching a slew of shows like<em> Solhah Singaarr</em> and <em>Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye</em>, Sahara One is now gearing up with Aroona Irani's new show, <em>Babul</em>. This one hour daily will be produced by Ashok Gaikwad (of Prratima fame). This family saga promises of an interesting cast with the likes of Barkha Bisht, Amit Sareen, Aroona Irani, Mohnish Behl, Aarti Behl and Arzoo Govitrikar.

Barkha Bisht has struck gold post<em> Pyaar Ke Do Naam Ek Radha Ek Shyam </em>on Star Plus. The pretty actor has been roped in as the lead opposite Amit Sareen by Aroona Irani for her yet untitled Sahara One show. This is not all. Barkha is also anchoring the revamped<em> Popkorn</em> on Zoom alternately alongside Shveta Salve.
