Zee’s popular show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/readerspeak/all-choti-bahu-fans-are-very-angry-zee-tv-and-dj-creative-unit> Choti Bahu</a> will finally bid goodbye to its viewers tonight making way for <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/laalis-godh-bharai-agle-janam>Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo</a></em>. The show will end on a happy note and will also see a special appearance of Laali and Shekhar (protagonists of <em>Agle Janam</em>) as well.

TellyChakkar had earlier reported the probability of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amit-dolawat-enters-choti-bahu>Choti Bahu</a> going off air, however there were rumours the show had got an extension of six months. The latest is Zee has decided to give a logical end to the show. It will go off air on September 17 only to be replaced by Rajita Sharma’s <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/meher-vij-back-action>Ram Milaayi Jodi</a></em>.

Zee’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chhoti-bahu-air-hour-mondays>Choti Bahu</a> for some time has been lying low with the audiences giving it a cold shoulder. So the makers have planned a new twist in the show. <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/amit-plays-bhoot-aahat>Amit Dolawat</a>, last seen in <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/naitiks-secret-shocks-sneha>Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai</a></em>, will soon join the cast.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/afternoon-full-colors>Shreya Creations</a>’ new show Yeh Ishq Haye on Star Plus will soon begin its first schedule. The latest update on the show is that <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/dadi-plays-spoilsport-again-rashmi-madhav-marry-soon>Rakhi Verma</a>, last seen in <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/will-avinash-return-choti-bahu>Choti Bahu</a></em>, is playing a pivotal role.

Ashish Kapoor and Payal Nair, last seen in <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/anandi-going-saloni-saat-phere-way>Saat Phere</a> and Do Saheliyan respectively are entering <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/javed-akhtar-patronises-star-plus-new-show>Chand Chupa Badal Mein</a></em> as a couple. They play the uncle and aunt of Siddharth Sood (Abhishek Tiwari).

Viewers of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/chhoti-bahu-be-set-afire-ala-vivaah>Choti Bahu</a> were in for a big surprise last week! The character of Dev (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/interviews/if-something-happens-between-rubina-and-me-future-will-let-you-know-avinash-sachdev>Avinash Sachdev</a>) was successfully bumped off by his evil brother Shantanu (<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hiten-tejwani-chhoti-bahu>Hiten Tejwani</a>).

The Zee conundrum involving its upcoming shows is showing some sign of solution with <em>Choti Bahu</em> and <em>Maa</em> tipped to occupy the afternoon slot. If sources are to be believed, DJ’s: A Creative Unit’s<em> Choti Bahu</em>, whose promo is currently on, will launch in October end while Shakuntalam Film’s<em> Maa</em> will go on air in November. While they are slated to be matinee shows the timings for these shows is still not clear.

A new family drama titled <em> Choti Bahu </em> will tentatively be on air from the first week of September. Produced by DJ Creations <em> Choti Bahu</em> will be telecast in the afternoon time slot on Zee. As the name suggests, the story is based on the youngest daughter-in-law of the family. Rubina who plays the lead will make her TV debut with this show. Rita Bhaduri , Rajeev Verma, Gopi Desai and Sampa Sagar are part of the ensemble cast. The male lead is not finalised yet but all the young roles will be played by newcomers.
