Remember Deepali? The Indian Idol contestant, who won many hearts with her singing and hosting, is back in news. This time, for a different reason though. She has decided to try her luck at acting. The pretty Patna girl is playing a lead role in a Bhojpuri serial called <em>Badki Malkain</em>. The show being aired on Mahua TV apparently has been received well.

<em> Indian Idol 4</em> will have an episode called <em> ‘rubaru’ </em> every Thursday. It will be hosted by Chang and Deepali, the duo that also hosted the audition episodes. A well placed source from the show informed, “The <em> ‘rubaru’ </em> episodes will have anecdotes from behind the scenes of <em> Indian Idol 4 </em>. Every interesting action taking place back stage like practice sessions, conflicts, etc will be captured in these episodes. It will telecast every Thursday at 7.30 pm from October 23. The shoot for this episode has started today.”

One of the very damdaar (promising)<em> Indian Idol</em> contestant Puja Chatterjee was eliminated from the show last Saturday. "It was a bit unexpected and shocking but then I thought if Deepali can be eliminated then even I can be. I failed to please the audience for votes. However, I have promised myself to make it big in the Indian film industry," says Chatterjee.

The heat of elimination is blazing up as Sony's<em> Indian Idol Bharat Ki Shaan </em> is reaching its grand finale. The tension among the participants is increasing with each passing day. On Saturday, it was Deepali's turn to say good bye to the<em> Indian Idol</em> Stage as she received less number of votes. This multi talented girl from Patna left her fans heart broken and judges in a complete shock.
