Ending the suspense of the release of his ambitious film Viswaroopam on the DTH platform, Kamal Hassan has announced that the Tamil and Telugu versions will be premiered on the platform on 2 February (2013). With this announcement, the producer has set to rest the controversy surrounding the fate of his film made under the banner of his production house Rajkamal Films International.

Due to pressure from film exhibitors, Kamal Haasan has been compelled to postpone the release of his Hindi-Tamil-Telugu tri-lingual Vishwaroop. He has now slapped a notice on all the exhibitors and complained to the <em>Competition Commission Of India</em> and slapped a fine of Rs 25 lakhs on film exhibitors. The film is now likely to release on 18 January (2013).
