Mercurial Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is set to make his second appearance in an Indian television reality show when he graces the grand finale of<em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek </em> on September 14. The show is produced by UTV Television. Confirming the news, UTV Television COO Ajit Thakur says, “Yes Shoaib will be the guest at the grand finale of<em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. “ Earlier there were reports that the Pakistani speedster would be participating in the show. However, Ajit Thakur rubbished these by saying that Shoaib will only be a guest and not a participant.

It is confirmed. Mandira Bedi will be hosting reality show <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. As reported by us replacing Ravi Kissen on Zee TV. As mentioned earlier Ravi Kissen will not continue on the show as he has to go to South Africa for the shooting of his film <em> Luck</em>. It was heard that the production house was contemplating between Jia Khan and Mandira Bedi and eventually Mandira was selected."

After the successful stint as a host on Zee's celeb studded reality show <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek, Bhojpuri</em> superstar Ravi Kissen will reportedly have to bid adieu to the show due to his commitments. A source close to the actor says, " Ravi Kissen has to fly to South Africa for the shooting of the movie<em> Luck</em> which also has Sanjay Dutt in the lead. Ravi ji has a very important role in the movie. The show has been given a four week extension as the show is doing well though it is in the 7:30pm slot. It is reported that Mandira Bedi will be roped in in his place."

All hell has broken loose on <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em> with judge Abhijeet Bhattacharya walking out of this Zee TV reality show. Abhijeet took this step in the aftermath of Pakistani singer Mussarat Abbas being given a wild card mid-way through the competition. A furious Abhijeet says, “I’m opting out of the show on ideological grounds. There are hundreds of Indian talented singers who wait in queue for days but yet leave empty-handed. If you ought to bring back someone then why not recall talented singers like Harpreet and Emon.”

Another shocking elimination on Zee’s <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek,</em> this weekend is that of Abhishek and his singer partner Sumedha. It was shocking and more over the drama that Abhishek created on stage. “It was really horrifying to see the strong<em> jodi </em> bidding adieu to the show. Abhishek was unable to take this and created a scene on stage,” informs our <em> khabroo</em>.

The upcoming episode of <em> Ek Se Badkar Ek</em> is a shocker as talented Purbi Joshi and Emon Chatterjee get eliminated. This week Kushal and Purbi are in the bottom two and the competition between them in a way clinched Purbi’s fate. “The two <em> jodis</em>, Purbi-Emon and Kushal-Sanchita were in the bottom two. In the face- off section Emon and Sanchita were asked to sing as Kushal and Purbi competed with each other. The result had it that Kushal-Sanchita went in the safe zone where as Purbi-Emon had to bid adieu to the stage,” reveals a source.

Luck always plays a key factor in one’s success. However, at the moment it seems to have deserted Amrapali Gupta and Harpreet Deol completely in their endeavour to succeed on<em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em>. As it is, the duo has found the going tough in the competition. Now they’re laid low by external factors. While Harpreet continues to be dogged by fever, Amrapali hurt her leg while performing.

<em> Saregamapa </em> singer Poonam Yadav and actor Apoorva Agnihotri are the first team to get evicted from the song and dance reality show <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em> on Zee. <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek</em> brings talent from singing and dancing on to one common platform. Poonam and Apurva is the first jodi to get eliminated from the show that started off with eight jodis. Each pair comprises of one dancer and one singer.

The contestants of Zee TV’s <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek </em> are finding the going tough. No, they aren’t’ struggling to perform but living up to the two judges’ (Abhijeet and Ahmed Khan) expectations is proving to be quite a challenge. Often, their comments leave them confused.
