NDTV Imagine is currently embracing Ekta Kapoor. Reportedly, Balaji will be churning out more than one shows for this channel. With this being the case, the next question is where to fit Ekta’s upcoming shows? Speculation is rife that one of Ekta’s soap will push Hats Off productions <em> Jasuben Jayantilaal Joshi Ki Joint Family</em> into a weekend slot. Says a source, “While it is not clear which Balaji show will come on air first, it’s certain that <em> Jasuben </em>would indeed be pushed to the weekend slot. A Balaji show will occupy the 10.00 pm slot in the months to come.”

Mrunal Jain is all set to play the role of Shri Krishna in 9X’s <em> Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki.</em> Mrunal will join the team of much admired actors like Ronit Roy, Saakshi Tanwar, Anita Hassanandani, Aryan Vaid, Chetan Hansraj, Makrand Deshpande in the mega mythological show. Being a newcomer Mrunal Jain will play the challenging role of Lord Krishna, the Lord of the Geeta, which is the quintessence of Indian mystical-philosophical thoughts. The immediate cause of his avatar was his own maternal uncle, Kans, in their kingdom, Mathura.

So impressed was Ekta Kapoor with Vishal Singh that she has offered him a full-fledged role in,<em> Kasam Se</em>. Though earlier he was tipped to do only a cameo now Vishal will be seen in a full length role as Rishi in the show. “Earlier I was supposed to do a cameo but now Ekta mam has given me a complete role,” says an excited Vishal Singh.

Ekta Kapoor has time and again gone out of her way to offer any kind of help to those who work for her or are close to her. Since the past two days a distraught Ekta is personally calling everyone she knows to help her director Garry Binder who is reportedly suffering from cancer and requires a bone marrow transplant. Garry who has directed most of her shows including the hits <em> Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em> and <em> Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii</em> is very close to Ekta Kapoor. He is currently working on the much awaited <em> Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki </em>

After Pulkit Samrat quit<em> Kyunkii Saas Bhi kabhi Bahu Thi </em>, Balaji was left in a lurch to find out the suitable replacement. Being one of her most loved characters, soap-queen was very particular about the face that was to replace Pulkit to play Lakshya. Balaji has finally found the replacement in Yash Pandit.
