Exclusive: Smriti Irani back on TV with Balaji's next on Star Plus

Friends, Roman and Countrymen, lend me your ears!!!! This is definitely the BIGGEST news of the year! The ideal bahu of television, Smriti Irani aka Tulsi is soon going to be back on television. Whaaaat??? Realllyy???? Aren’t you all jumping with excitement? The actor turned politician, Irani, became a household name for leading the small screen with her shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Virudh, before stepping into her political career. Now we have some exclusive piece of information that the lady is all set to make her comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s next finite venture on Star Plus. As per our sources, the series will be based on the life of a Politian, who will be falsely accused of being involved into a scam. How she deals with it and emerges victorious forms the rest of the story. The series will also explore the dark side of politics and how a woman fights it all to safeguard her integrity. “Smriti being associated with politics makes her fit into the bill. And Ekta’s proximity with Smriti is also another reason for such choice. Though Irani is really keen on taking up the project, she has not yet given a final nod considering her responsibilities as the HRD minister”, adds another source. Though we couldn’t reach Smriti, we have dropped messages to Ekta and the channel’s spokesperson. We will update our readers about the same as soon as we receive any revert. This is an April Fool's story.
