His fellow countryman and <em> Sufi Ke Sultan</em> mentor Rahat Fateh Ali Khan helplessly stated that India has showered love but not enough votes on his protegee. Pakistan's Ali Abbas fell way behind in votes to his <em> Sufi Ke Sultan</em>team-mate Harshdeep. As a result, he'll not be making it to the grand finale of <em>Junoon</em>.

Karishma Tanna and Khayali finished third in<em> Comedy Circus’</em> inaugural season but the duo couldn’t go beyond two weeks in<em> Kaante Ki Takkar</em>. They have become the first pair to be eliminated from<em> Kaate Ki Takkar</em>. A source informs, “There was no elimination in the first week. Karishma Tanna and Khayali did well in the second episode but their first week’s performance wasn’t that good. The judges had to take a decision considering performances of both the episodes. That’s where they fell behind. Karishma had spoofed a bar dancer in this episode.”

In a shocking result on NDTV Imagine’s <em>Junoon, Maati Ke Lal </em> have suffered another blow with the elimination of Kalpana. A source from the production says, “Kalpana couldn’t garner enough votes and so she’s been eliminated. That means Kaplana’s elimination leaves Malini Awasthi to represent <em> Maati Ke Lal</em> in the final. Abhas is the lone contender remaining in<em> Bollywood Ke Baadshah</em>. The only finalist to be decided is from <em>Sufi Ke Sultan</em>.”

Luck doesn’t seem to be on the side of Rahul Mukherjee, a contestant in Star<em> Voice Of India</em> 2 from Maharashtra. This week the singer is ousted from the show as his performance failed to strike a chord with the judges. A source informed, “Rahul Mukherjee gets eliminated this week in Star <em>Voice Of India</em> 2. It was a Sukhwinder Singh special episode where Rahul sang <em> Lagan Lagi</em> from the movie<em> Tere Naam</em>.”

Week on week the fever on <em> Waar Parriwar</em> is rising as the finale nears. And this week's victim is the Ali Ghani family. "They are eliminated in today's episode leaving only top three families to compete with each other," says our source. "When the Ali Ghani family re-entered the show with a wild card entry, it seems they were aware that they would not win touch. After their earlier elimination the family had lost their touch. But the family took it very sportingly and gave their last performance with full grace," adds our<em> khabroo</em>.

Another shocking elimination on Zee’s <em> Ek Se Badhkar Ek,</em> this weekend is that of Abhishek and his singer partner Sumedha. It was shocking and more over the drama that Abhishek created on stage. “It was really horrifying to see the strong<em> jodi </em> bidding adieu to the show. Abhishek was unable to take this and created a scene on stage,” informs our <em> khabroo</em>.

This weekend yet another jodi from Zee's <em> Ek Se Badkar Ek</em> will bid adieu to the audience. And its the turn of the sensational and hot <em>bahu</em> of <em>Teen Bahuraniyaa</em> Bindya aka Amrapali with her singing partner Harpeet. Though the singer had an idea about his ouster but the <em> bahu </em> was very disheartened. "Yes, we are eliminated from the show but I think we should have been there in the competition but at end it was our destiny," confirms Amrapali.

The upcoming episode of <em> Ek Se Badkar Ek</em> is a shocker as talented Purbi Joshi and Emon Chatterjee get eliminated. This week Kushal and Purbi are in the bottom two and the competition between them in a way clinched Purbi’s fate. “The two <em> jodis</em>, Purbi-Emon and Kushal-Sanchita were in the bottom two. In the face- off section Emon and Sanchita were asked to sing as Kushal and Purbi competed with each other. The result had it that Kushal-Sanchita went in the safe zone where as Purbi-Emon had to bid adieu to the stage,” reveals a source.

The upcoming episode of Star Plus’ <em> Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar</em> will be a shocker for all Vineet Singh’s fans. The singer is ousted from the show due to a lack of votes. Vineet despite receiving flak from the judges was one of the favourites on the show. Vineet also showed a marked improvement with every performance. In fact for his last performance on Saturday 21 June, Vineet scored full marks.

Reality shows are going in for some heavy duty filmy dramas. Last week’s episode on <em> Warr Parriwar</em> had contestant and judges coming down heavily on the veteran singer Ram Shankar. Not one to take the hard hitting comments lightly Ram retaliated with some equally sharp words. It was evident that the senior singer was not very popular with the other participants. But what was shocking was that even his niece Ekta who is part of his <em> parriwar’</em> has been saying some not-so-nice about him. All the on-screen negativity has resulted in the family being eliminated from the show.
