His fellow countryman and Sufi Ke Sultan mentor Rahat Fateh Ali Khan helplessly stated that India has showered love but not enough votes on his protegee. Pakistan's Ali Abbas fell way behind in votes to his Sufi Ke Sultanteam-mate Harshdeep. As a result, he'll not be making it to the grand finale of Junoon.
A source informs, "Ali has always lagged behind in votes and it would have been a miracle for him to beat Harshdeep, who's emerged as the most popular with the public. It isn't a surprise as one expected Ali to go out. That leaves us with three Indians Harshdeep, Abhas and Malini in the final."
It must be recalled that Ali Abbas has been liked by all the judges but the Pakistani was always lagging behind in votes. Mentors of Mati Ke Lal and Bollywood Ke Baadshah, Ila Arun and Anand Raj Anand, haven't hesitated in saying that they found Ali much better than Harshdeep, who would now be hoping that the public continue to vote for her in large numbers.
Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan will be the guests for the grand finale of Junoon that will take place on 27 September.
