Currently, everyone believes that Virat and Shruti have a child together and now D.I.G. also has learned about Virat's affair.

Sai took this impulsive decision thinking Virat truly loves Shruti and so she can't force him to stay married to her (Sai). This major decision comes as a huge shocker to Virat but as usual, he doesn't want to clear any misunderstanding.
