A few days ago, we had informed our readers about the shows going off air on SAB TV. Now, we give you information about two new shows that will come on air in the weekend slot from December in the channel. They are Firework Productions’ <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/rahuol-lohani-all-set-tickle-funny-bone-gutur-gu-season-2>Gutur Gu</a></em> and <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/malegaon-ka-chintu-not-chaplin-or-mr-bean>Malegaon Ka Chintu</a></em> season 2.

SAB TV seems to be on fire these days. Well…we don’t intend any pun as the channel genuinely is launching one interesting show after another. After <em>Golmaal Hai Bhai Sab Golmaal Hai</em> and Deepti Bhatnagar Productions’ upcoming travel based show, the latest we hear is that the channel will soon come up with <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/gutur-gu-go-air-30-june>Gutur Gu</a></em> season 2. Yes, the first season of this silent comedy, produced by Fireworks Productions, entertained masses for three long years before bidding adieu (we broke the “off air” news).

Versatile actor Kunal Kumar, who was last seen on SAB TV playing the role of Balu in Gutur Gu, has been associated with many field of entertainment besides acting. He is also a cinematographer and a director. He is also an entrepreneur who has a company named I Wish Foundation that is into ad filmmaking.

Gutur Gu (SAB TV) produced by Fireworks Productions opened new doors in the realm of comic content in Indian television. Well, when majority of comedy shows fail to tickle the funny bone with all their dialogues and funny histrionics, Gutur Gu, being a silent comedy, brought smiles on the lips of masses for more than two years. But as they say, all good things come to an end someday. Accordingly, Gutur Gu is going off air and it will air for the last time on 30 June (2012).

His character’s name will be Chuttapan and he will be a notorious dacoit. His role will be loosely based on the life of Veerappan.

What’s up with this monkey man plot, TV writers? It seems as if there is at least one monkey man who is busy harrowing the cast of every show across GECs.
