Balu to turn into monkey man in Gutur Gu

What’s up with this monkey man plot, TV writers? It seems as if there is at least one monkey man who is busy harrowing the cast of every show across GECs. After RK Laxman Ki Duniya (SAB TV) and Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha (Colors), the dreaded monkey man is all set to create fun and humour in Fireworks’ silent comedy, Gutur Gu on SAB TV. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will witness a magic show in the serial. A magician, played by Nilesh Devekar, will be seen calling people randomly on the stage for different tricks. Balu (Kunal Kumar) will also be called on the stage and under a spell of magic; he will turn into a monkey. The magician will then make repeated attempts to bring back Balu to normalcy, but he will fail and faint out of nervousness. On the other hand, Balu, now a monkey man, will behave like an ape, eat bananas, run around and create a lot of ruckus. Finally, the magician will put Balu in a box and he will come back to his original shape. The production house has incorporated lot of special effects for the “magical” sequence. We contacted Kunal Kumar to confirm the track and he said, “Yes, I will turn in to a monkey and I really enjoyed shooting for the sequence, for I had to eat bananas and roam around with a tail attached to my back. However, I can’t reveal anything more than this. Please watch the episodes and enjoy.” This particular sequence will go on air this week.
