The kids just love watching Shinchan on Hungama. Come Holi, and they will have a blast as Shinchan’s debut movie will be shown on Hungama. <em>Shinchan and Treasures of the Buri Buri Kingdom</em> at 11 am on Thursday, 8 March 2012.

The kids channel Hungama has launched its new show Hero on 30 May. This is a show, where the protagonist is a special child and the trials and tribulations that this simple child has to go through. This daily slotted for 7.30 pm, focuses on relationships with the mother, the brother, friends and foes, until one day Godess Durga gives him powers to become a super Hero, with which he can use for others.

He's back. Ananth Mahadevan, known to viewers for his capers on Doordarshan in the early 1980s and later as the director of Sony's <em>Devi</em>, is back. This time to direct one of the few shows that have been given a fixed slot on UTV's proposed kiddie channel Hungama.
