Stand-up comedy shows have become an integral part of most Hindi GECs (and big news for regional news channels.) Surprisingly, NDTV Imagine didn't have one earlier but they've now made amends big time. Imagine has roped in the most popular stand-up artist Raju Srivastav for their upcoming comedy show produced by Endemol. A reliable source informs, "Raju will soon be doing a stand-up show for Imagine called <em> Raju Hazir Ho</em>. Every episode will have a theme. Raju will be accompanied by two girls whose identity is still unknown."

All celebrities, politicians, sportspersons and artistes beware as Shekhar Suman is on the prowl again. Shekhar has got into his satirical mode again as he is all ready to host and produce a show for NDTV Imagine. The show which is a satirical will be produced by his home production Windmill Entertainment. Confirming the news, Shekhar Suman says, “Yes, I’m producing a satirical show for NDTV Imagine. It will air once in three months and is 2 ? hours in duration.”

After <em> Ramayan </em> and <em> Dharam Veer</em>, Sagar Arts is all set to launch its third mythological show called <em> Shani Dev </em> on NDTV Imagine. With Dayashankar Pandey (Goli of <em>Lagaan</em>) essaying the main role in the show we believe that the days of the mythos are back on TV. "Yes, I'm doing the show but have been given instructions not to talk to press about it so I can't reveal any details," confirms Dayashankar. "I can just tell you that the shooting has started and hoping that the show does well," he adds further.

NDTV Imagine after tasting success on its prime time shows is all set to launch its afternoon slot for niche audiences. <em> Chand Ke Par Chalo</em> will be the first afternoon show and is scheduled to go on air by the end of July. It is produced by Gul Khan’s Tangerine Digital Films. What is interesting is that Zalak Thakkar of <em> Saarthi </em> fame will be making her comeback with the show as the female lead. “Yes, I’m playing the lead in the show. I can’t reveal much as the shooting of the show has not yet begun,” confirms Zalak.

After <em> Kuch Kuch Hota Hai</em> , another event based show is soon to take off on NDTV Imagine. Contilo and Imagine presents <em> Chand Chupa Badal Main</em>, which is a multi-starrer event. “This is a tentative name of the show. I can’t reveal any details as there is still time for it,” says Rupali Kadian Singh, Contiloe Films. The star cast includes Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh, Jay Bhanushali and Panchi Bora and also Sayantani Ghosh. “Aamir and Sanjeeda will be hosting a<em> karva Chaut</em> party. We all are invited and will be performing on the occasion,” says Jay

NDTV Imagine unleashes, action-packed drama called <em>Vijay… Desh Ki Aankhen </em> produced by Sagar Arts. The story is centered on Colonel Ranjit Singh and his team of highly trained officers and the missions they undertake to ensure the safety and security of the nation and its people.

NDTV Imagine is all set to air its one day special episode wherein the viewers will see their much loved television actresses paying tribute to Bollywood beauties from Madhubala, Meena Kumari to Aishwarya Rai. Inside sources tell us that the producer is contemplating on three-four titles for the show and it will be hosted by Raju Srivastava.
