Sad, considering he was one of the very talented contestants and was even named as the singer of the week in last night’s gala episode. Looks like, the public is hard of hearing good, gifted singers. His elimination will happen tonight.

It is becoming a trend of sorts when the most deserving candidates end up with minimum votes. It seems difficult for girls to make it to the top in the current season of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/yashraj-out-indian-idol-5>Indian Idol</a>. Arpita Khan is the latest to be eliminated thus leaving behind only two girls in the competition.

The earlier two seasons of <em>Entertainment</em> did well and now the channel is once again gearing up for the third season in time to take on the rival show, <em>India’s Got Talent 2</em>.

Karmakar who has earlier done <em>Sa Re Ga Ma Bangla</em> was always confident of being in the top 5 but has been faring quite badly in the last couple of weeks.

Seventeen-year-old Meghna Kumar is the next one to be eliminated from <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/vishwas-first-get-indian-idol-5-boat>Indian Idol 5</a>. Visually challenged Meghna from Jhansi failed to impress judges with her performance last week and had to pay the price for it.

If sources are to be believed there is a strong possibility that Salman Khan’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/dus-ka-dum/last-episode-dus-ka-dum>Dus Ka Dum</a> will be pushed to next year with season four of <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/aamir-khan-host-kbc-4>Kaun Banega Crorepati</a></em> taking its place in September.

A former Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestant Vishwas Rai from Allahabad is the first one to be eliminated on <em><a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/hussain-replaces-prajakta-indian-idol>Indian Idol 5</a></em> this Monday. Music composer Pritam was guest judge for the two episodes.

<a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sunidhi-and-salim-join-anu-malek-indian-idol>Anu Malik</a>, the only judge to have been part of all the seasons of <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/indian-idol-start-april-26>Indian Idol</a> is reportedly having differences over money with Sony. Malik informs that it is not money but creative differences which had forced him to re-think his decision to be or not to be part of the show this time.
