The news is out… Maninee De has been pencilled in as the new anchor for Star<em> Dopaher Ke Gharelu Nuskey</em>. Just a few days ago, the producers had fixed on Neha Bamb. So, what went wrong? "I was supposed to do the show but my diction was not proper. Also,since I am busy with <em> Maayka</em> I didn't have the relevant dates," says Neha.

Tomorrow (22nd March) is actor Maninee De's birthday. This spunky actor is not known to throw parties or celebrate it on the sets as she believes, "Birthdays no longer have the charm they used to earlier. Or probably I have grown too old to celebrate them," rues this Arian. So, what are her plans for tomorrow? "I have taken an off from shooting and will go to Shirdi with my husband and daughter. I want to be with Baba and seek his blessings," says Maninee.

Called up Maninee De on her cell to convey new year wishes when her daughter Dianoor took the call to say "Mummy is not well. She is resting." Nevertheless the actor did come on the line but sounded very weak and uneasy as she mumbled, "I am having chest pain and the doctor has been called in." A week ago, her in-laws had come down and she was busy attending to them as a good daughter-in-law should. Then too,she had complained of chest pain during the conversation.

Maninee De is back into action after a sabbatical post<em> Twinkle Beauty Parlour.</em> But this time around she's going to be seen co-hosting <em>Wah Wah</em> on Sab along with Sailesh Loda. Interestingly Maninee is replacing Tanaaz Currim who co-hosted the show with Sailesh since March but is unable to continue due to<em> Nach Baliye 2.</em>
