Dev musters up the courage and proposes to Vidhi leaving all his feelings bare in front of her.  

Dev will never accept Vidhi as his partner because of their age gap, and he fears the questions that society will ask them.

Satyavathi finally finds out about Dev’s love for Vidhi. Therefore, she makes the big move of stopping Dev and Amba’s engagement ceremony and canceling their wedding. 

We see that Satyavati stops Dev and Amba’s engagement rituals and she wants Dev to choose his happiness and cancel his alliance with Amba which he clearly doesn’t want to get into.

Satyavathi gets to know Dev's feelings for Vidhi. Therefore, she stops him from marrying Amba. Also, Dev cancels his wedding with Amba. Another twist that awaits, is that Dev decides to convey his love to Vidhi anyhow. 

Amba chooses Vidhi’s house for the engagement ceremony. Dev tries his best to confess his feelings to Vidhi but eventually fails.

Dev goes to Vidhi’s house wearing the shirt he received as a gift so that he could propose to her.
