Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007

Mumbai's hardliners often crib about the influx of Biharis in the city but the entry of one humorous Bihari has always brought a smile on many faces. Union Railway minister of India Lalu (sometimes spelt as Laloo) Prasad Yadav will be a special guest on Zee's <em> Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007</em> this Saturday. With the hurly-burly politician on the show, it was non-stop entertainment on the sets.

Be it on the cricket field or on camera, Kapil Dev has never been one to hide his emotions. Back in 2000, he broke down on Hard Talk unable to face host Karan Thapar's fiery questions. Seven years later, tears flowed again but this time on the special Independence Day episode of Zee's <em> Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007</em>, where both Indian and Pakistani contestants paid tribute to their motherland.

You can take a man out of India but can't take India out of a man. So goes the popular saying. While it may not hold true for most NRIs, USA's Mouli Dave certainly wears India on her sleeves. However, this American desi nearly booked her flight for USA after last Friday's insipid performance on Zee's <em> Sa re ga ma pa Challenge 2007</em>. But luck had something else in store for her. Fortunately, she came into her own on Saturday. May be the presence of Bollywood heartthrob Salmaan proved to be an inspiration.
