There was speculation about <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/sarwar-ahuja-targets-south-film-industry>Sarwar Ahuja</a>, find of Zee TV’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/zee-cinestars-ki-khoj-return>Cinestar Ki Khoj</a> being replaced in Ekta Kapoor’s <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/has-sarwar-pipped-shabbir-post-play-lead-keshav-pandit>Keshav Pandit</a>. Apparently the production house first approached their blue-eyed boy Shabbir Ahluwalia however it was Ahuja who finally got the role in the end.

Has Sarwar pipped Shabbir to the post to play the lead in Keshav Pandit?

After their successful collaboration with Pavitra Rishta, which is number one on the channel, Zee TV now joins hands again with Balaji Telefilms for a new show tentatively titled <em>Keshav Pandit</em>. It is based on a novel written by renowned writer Ved Prakash Sharma. <em>Keshav Pandit</em> happens to be the central character of the novel <em>Vijay Aur Keshav Pandit</em>.

Sarwar Ahuja targets South film industry

After doing Hindi films like Khanna and Iyer, Meri Padosan, Hum Phirr Milenge, <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/lifestyle/i-don-t-have-sweet-tooth-sarwar-ahuja>Sarwar Ahuja</a> is planning to move down South and do Telugu movies. Sarwar who is currently seen as the blind man in <em>Jyot</em>i, has been receiving a lot of offers from Telugu cinema since the past two-three months. He has also made several trips to the state regarding the project. Confirms Sarwar, “Yes, I am in the process of finalising a big project in the South, but I think it is too early to talk about it.”
