Shatrughan Sinha to judge TGILC 4

<em> The Great Indian Laughter Challenge</em> has got a shot in the arm with the signing of Shatrughan Sinha (fondly known as Shotgun) as judge for its upcoming fourth season. Navjot Singh Sidhu continues to remain in his post as judge. A reliable source informs, “He figured in our plans since very long and after periodic negotiations Shatrughan has finally agreed to be on our show.” Star India VP Marketing and Communications, Prem Kamath says, “I can neither confirm nor deny this. We’ll speak at the appropriate time.” <em>TGILC </em> director Pankaj Saraswat too echoed the same.

Naveen Prabhakar bags lead roles in two films

Naveen Prabhakar, who shot to fame with <em> The Great Indian Laughter Challenge,</em> has stepped foot into Bollywood. Unlike his fellow <em> Laughter Challenge</em> colleagues, Naveen has been chosen to play the lead in two films. An ecstatic Naveen says, “I play the lead in two films; one is Ram Gopal Verma’s <em> Mujhe Ramuji Ko Milna Hai </em> and the other is Suresh Jain’s <em> Saturday night</em>. The former is a social drama based on the lives of aspiring actors while the latter is an out and out comedy. Unfortunately, I can’t reveal many details.”

Shekhar Suman may not feature in TGILC 4

He’s been an integral part of <em> The Great Indian Laughter Challenge,</em> but if sources are to be believed, Shekhar Suman may not be there as a judge in its upcoming fourth season. Our source reveals, “Thus far Shekhar’s name hasn’t come up for the judges’ slot. You never know what might happen at the last minute, but at the moment it looks unlikely that he’ll be approached. While there’s uncertainty surrounding Shekhar’s name, Navjot Sidhu will continue to be part of the show.”

The Great Indian Laughter Challenge is back

It is great news for all those who are fed up the regular <em> saas-bahu </em> drama running on different channels and who followed the last three seasons of <em>The Great Indian Laughter Challenge</em>. Star One has decided to present the fourth season of the comedy show. Sources from the channel say, “The channel is planning to bounce back in a big way with the fourth season of <em>The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.</em> They are trying to rope in Bollywood celebrities to judge the show. The show will start around April or May.”

Actor Shekhar Suman set to Jhoom

Shekhar Suman has been fascinated by the innumerable musical reality shows. In fact, <em>The Great Indian Laughter Challenge'</em>s resident judge doesn't hesitate in saying that the comedy show was losing viewership to Indian Idol. The actor-turned-singer will now be seen on Sahara One's musical reality show<em> 'Jhoom'.</em>
