Looks like TV producers want to pull out all stops when it comes to keeping their shows on top of viewers’ minds. Star Plus’ top-rated show <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ghar-se-nikal-jao-akshara-s-laws-tell-her-soon>Yeh rishta kya kehlata hai</a>, will go all silent on January 8. We have been used to the opulence of the sets and the grand treatment meted out to the characters of the show, but in this special episode there will be no dialogues. Protagonist Akshara who is held responsible for the Mohit-Nandini relationship, will express her pain and grief through silence.

With the strategy to generate more TRPs, Star Plus experimented with its flagship shows Bidaai and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlataa Hai by airing them all seven days a week. Unfortunately, the game plan didn’t work and the shows only slid down on the TRP scale. And now the channel after reviving its plan has decided to bring the two shows back to its normal schedule and the shows starting next week will air five days a week, i.e. from Monday to Friday at 9:00 and 9:30 pm respectively.

Endemol’s Sabki Laadli Bebo which airs at 10:00 pm will now shift to 10:30 pm time – slot starting today, 8 July 2009. The show will now accommodate Star Plus’ top rated shows <em>Bidaai</em> and <em>Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlaata Hai</em>, as the shows will air for 45 minutes each starting today. The new time slot for <em>Bebo</em> will last till 14 July, 2009. Sources from <em>Bebo</em> though remained clueless about the change. Says a source, “I am not aware and I don’t think this is happening.”
