Shaad Ali tipped to direct YRF's Kill Dil

Having made his directorial debut in 2002 with Saathiya for Yash Raj Films (YRF), Shaad Ali has been roped in by the production house to direct their next project Kill Dil that will star Ranveer Singh, Ali Zafar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles. Shaad’s second film was <em>Bunty Aur Babli</em> made in 2005, brought together real-life father and son Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan alongside Rani Mukerji. The film turned out to be one of the biggest hits of the year.

Challa-first song of SRK's Jab Tak Hain Jaan released today

The much awaited release of YRF’s Jab Tak Hain Jaan music took place today with the launch of its first song Challa. The song was launched at 12 noon on YRF’s official Youtube Channel. Bollywood's favourite doctor on alert in Ladakh for YRF project

Shooting in Ladakh is not easy. Crew members of J P.Dutta’s LOC and Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshya fell ill complaining of breathlessness and suffocation caused by the vertiginous altitude on which the Ladakh region is located. During LOC two members of the crew actually lost their lives in Ladakh.

Ek Tha Tiger in legal tangle

It’s not even a month for YRF’s Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger to release and the film has mired into a legal hassle. Vikram Vashishtha, nephew of martyr and real life spy Ravindra Kaushik, has sent a legal notice to Yash Raj films, and copies of that notice to the film producers, Central Board of Film Certification, Film & TV Producers Guild and Film Federation of India asking for a special screening or sharing the original screenplay.
