Watch out for Mihir Misra on zee's '<em>Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa</em>' this Tuesday. The guy, who recently tied the knot with fellow artiste Maninee De, is going to be seen in a double role, a little bird tells us. The story goes somewhat like this - Enter Mihir (Mihir Misra in a new avatar). Aditya (the original Mihir Misra) has a secretary called Sam who becomes increasingly fond of the new Mihir. Can Aditya put a stop to the fatal attraction? Can he wean Sam away for himself?

The borders of shows are getting increasingly blurry. While in <em>Kkusum</em> this week, Sony's stars will converge in a party scene, Zee is actually merging the plots of <em>Astitva</em> and <em>Reth</em>.

<em>Amruta Khanvilkar's</em> is a strange success story. The petite Puneiite spent a large part of 2004 grooming and preening for Zee's talent hunt - <em>India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj</em>.

Cinevistaas' <em>Saathiya</em> starring Amar Upadhyay, Shrradha Nigam and Sanjit Bedi is likely to go off the air waves by January end. The production house has been hearing about this and has tried to check with the channel (SaharaOne)- but to no avail. The end, as and when it comes, we hope will not be abrupt. While Shrradha has bagged a chat show Soul Mantra for the now-in-planning Times Hindi channel, Upadhyay is keeping his fingers crossed that Ekta Kapoor will call him to play an important role in the fast-forward version of <em>Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi</em>.

World's best batsman Sachin Tendulkar has been asked to appear in Zee's <em>Saibaba</em> telecast on Sundays at 9 am. Saibaba which went on air from September 2004 is produced by sports promoter, hotelier, film producer Aushim Khetrapal. Confirming this, Khetrapal speaking from Delhi said, "It's a small thing really. The show is based on a much bigger concept than a celebrity.

Recently, Abhishek Bachchan popped in for a guest appearance in one of the '<em>Kareena Kareena</em>' episodes on Zee. The channel and production house have now gone a step ahead and roped in superstar Shah Rukh Khan to prop up the show. Prem (Shahrukh, namesake of SRK, who plays a radio jockey and Kareena's friend) will organise a meeting between Kareena (Kulraj Kaur) and SRK. When this writer asked Zee creative head Vivek Behl to confirm if the channel is bringing in a bigger name than Abhishek, he laughed it off but sayed it all. "I know what you are referring to," he quipped.

2004 has been a great year for Abhishek Bachchan. After three towering performances in <em>Yuva, Dhoom</em> and <em>Phir Milenge</em> (ignoring the disaster Naach), it's now television calling! Bachchan Jr has shot a spoof for Zee's latest show <em>Kareena Kareena</em> starring Kulraj Kaur. When contacted, Vivek Behl, Zee Creative Head confirmed the same.

It turned out to be hoax alright, but caused quite a stir and a scare when it did. Zee talent hunt <em>Cinestars Ki Khoj</em>'s shooting was on at the Famous Studio in south Mumbai. While the chosen few were being screened and preened for the grand finale of the Bollywood Dreams edition, in came a frantic phone call claiming that a bomb was planted right under the sets! Apparently, the trickster had called up a telephone operator, who raised the alarm.

She's back! The feisty lady who made the hard hitting, trend setting Tara for Zee back in the 1990s, is busy shooting her latest - a mega series called Mili that will premiere on Star Plus soon.
