Wasseypur’s gangs never had it so good. Seeing the glorious guttural outflow of gore blood bullets and profanities in Zilla Ghaziabad one could safely(?) assume, Wasseypur is safe. So is the other release this week. Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che is as far removed from its Friday competition as flying kites are from speeding bullets.

The people of Ghaziabad are not too pleased with the way they have been presumably portrayed in this Friday’s cops-as-robbers thriller Zilla Ghaziabad. The town on the outskirts of Delhi has lately been witness to protests from the local people who feel portraying their town as den of crime is wrong.
The protests are similar to what Wasseypur witnessed when the film on the rather adventurous supposedly crime-infested life in Jharkhand was released.

It’s a newly-revamped power-packed Sanjay Dutt ready to strike back on screen. He is not only preparing to lose kilos to shoot his big action scene with Ramcharan Teja in Zanjeer, Sanjay Dutt has also decided to take charge of his image of the Original Action Hero.
And body-doubles or special effects won’t do.
For his next release Zilla Ghaziabad, Dutt has shot some authentic bare-fisted action sequences.

A major blow to Bollywood is the death of liquor baron and film distributor Ponty Chadha. Many movie producers and directors worked closely with Chadha in the past. At least 6-7 prominent filmmakers were in serious negotiations with Chadha over big-budget projects which would now have to seek a different outlet for financial sustenance.

Zilla Ghaziabad is not one of the safest places for a lady to walk alone even in the afternoon and when the lady is as hot as Minissha Lamba, she definitely deserves security to be safe and sound.
While shooting in Ghaziabad, known for its high crime rate, for her forthcoming film Zilla Ghaziabad, special care was taken for Minissha Lamba's safety. She was always accompanied by four security guards whenever she used to step out of the hotel. In fact, there were always two security guards outside her hotel room.

Thanedaar Returns is Sanjay Dutt’s third cop role in a year. After Ram Gopal Varma’s Department and the forthcoming Zilla Ghaziabad Dutt will again be shown as a cop.
But producer Aggarwal is unperturbed, “If you’ve seen the original film Saamy you’d know this is a cop film unlike any other.”
However Vinod Bachchan the producer of Zilla Ghaziabad doesn’t think so. In a panic mode on hearing about yet another cop film Bachchan apparently got in touch with Sanjay Dutt requesting that his film be completed at the earliest.
