5 Life Lessons We Can Learn From Yeh Hai Mohabbatein

People might say that TV is an idiot box but on the hindsight, TV shows are definitely a great way to learn!

Some serials might just push all boundaries of logic, but there are some that impart some really important life lessons for good.

And today, we present the very popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein (Balaji Telefilms) on Star Plus and five things we can learn from the show...take a look:

Step-moms are not always wicked

The show started off with the bonding of Ishita (Divyanka Tripathi) and Ruhi (Ruhaanika Dhawan). The woman found herself complete with this tiny tot. And Ruhi too found the best mother figure in Ishita. Blood relations become a passé with the bond that this mother-daughter jodi shares.

Cast no barrier for successful marriage

As much as we talk about marriages in the same religion and cast, this show defies all that. It brings to light that marriages work only when two people have love and understanding between them. We love the fact that it spreads positivity and such a beautiful message across!!!

Love can happen twice

SRK might have preached that we love just once, it has been proved that's not the case! Raman (Karan Patel) who faces a bitter divorce had lost faith in love but when Ishita walked in to his life, things just magically changed. Ishita too was nursing a broken heart after being rejected by her lover. And today, the two who have strengthened their relationship brick by brick every day, have no qualms over their past relationships.

Joint family is still the trend

Nuclear family might be the need of the hour, but the love that the Bhallas share has just brought back the charm of joint family. Siblings, grandparents, parents and children all together under the same roof just gives us more opportunity to smile and enjoy every occasion. Isn't it?

Good does triumph over evil

Each one of us has read the moral teaching in school, but seeing it turn true in front of our eyes in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein has pillared our faith stronger in the thought. Money, power, evilness, slyness or crime, everything is overshadowed by the goodness on the show. And as they say, everything climaxes to a ‘happys endings’!
