SAB TV is known for its quirky shows that celebrate comedy at its most innocent and purest form. The shows are a reflection of our society. Perhaps that’s why the relatability factor is high. We can assume the same from their latest offering, Dil Deke Dekho as well. With such an interesting name, the premise is already set for a rom-com, eh? We drum up a list of five reasons to watch the show…read on:
Love stories spanning three generations
The plot is really hatke as it traces the love stories, spanning across three generations. Each jodi has a funky take on relationships in general and their love story in particular, so it will be interesting to see what they have in store for us.
Exciting cast
The cast is a perfect mix of seasoned actors and newbie heartthrobs. The faces of the show include, Anju Jadhav as Preet Chopra, Abhishek Bajaj as Rahul Shastri, Amit Tandon as Kamal Chopra, Preet's uncle, Preet Kaur Madhan as Simran Shastri, Rahul's aunt, Navneet Nishan as Tulsi Chopra, Preet's grandmother, and Kanwaljit Singh as Hridayanath Shastri, Rahul's grandfather, among others. With such a powerhouse of talent under one roof, there’s no way we would not laugh out loud every time they have a nok-jhok. Say what, guys?
For the whole family
Just like SAB’s other staple hits, this series is also for the whole family. No cringe-worthy double-meaning dialogue is going to ruin your post-dinner serial fix. That much we guarantee! With clean humour and goofy characters, the show is already a hit with us.
The Chopra-Shastri dynamics
While the Shastris are calm, collected and traditional, the Chopras are flamboyant, fun-loving and loud. Their dynamics is bound to light up our TV screens. We can’t wait for the fun to begin, can you?
How each pair expresses love
Since there are three generations involved, their way of professing love for their beloved is going to be unique and rather fun. How would the older generation confess their feelings? Will they be bashful or give ‘takkar’ to the younger lot? Will the youngsters go all out and fall hard in love or take it slow? We are excited to know.
Watch Dil Deke Deko from 18 October every Mon-Fri at 10.30pm only on SAB TV.
